Other Discworld Conventions

The International DWConThese biennial events are the main Discworld gatherings, and are based in the UK. The most recent one took place on the 3rd–6th August 2018 at Chesford Grange Hotel, near Warwick.

NADWCon – The North American Discworld Convention
NADWCon comes to Holy Wood, on the 12th–15th July 2019, and will take place at the Marriot LAX hotel in Los Angeles.

Scheibenwelt Convention – The German Discworld Convention
The next Scheibenwelt Convention will take place on 3rd–6th October 2019 at Burg Ludwigstein, Witzenhausen, Germany, and will be Hogswatch themed.

Cabbagecon – The Dutch Discworld Convention
The sixth Cabbagecon will take place on 31st October – 1st November 2020, at the Hotel De Rijper Eilanden, in De Rijp (between Amsterdam and Alkmaar).

Nullus Anxietas –The Australian Discworld Convention
The 7a-th Nullus Anxietas will take place in Sydney on 2nd-4th July 2021, and its theme will be “Ankh-Morpork: Citie of One Thousande Surprises!”
Some Other Discworld Gatherings

Polish ConventionsThese small gatherings usually happen twice a year in Nawojowa Góra, near Kraków. The most recent one took place on the 5th–7th April 2019.

South African Discworld DaySouth African Discworld meet-ups recently returned with their second celebration, which took place on 28th April 2018, at the La Vue Lodge in Muldersdrift near Johannesburg. The event is said to be annual, but there's no word yet about when or where next year's one will be.

Wincanton EventsThese relaxed, informal weekend gatherings (formerly known as Spring Fling and Hogswatch, and now called The Gathering of the Loonies) usually happen twice a year, in the town of Wincanton, UK. The Banjaxed BodhránersThe Bodhráners are an Irish group of Discworld fans who meet up every few months in Dublin, Cork, and Galway.

The Broken DrummersThis informal group of Discworld fans meet up on the first Monday of every month at the Monkey Puzzle pub, in Paddington, London, UK.
