About Membership

Membership to the Irish Discworld Convention is what you buy instead of a ticket, and entitles you to entry to all events at the Convention (except the Banquet Dinner, which is bought separately). While we have now sold out of memberships, you can find information on how to get on the waiting list in the Buy Stuff section. People who already have a membership will appear on our list of members. When you arrive at the Convention itself, you'll need to go to our Registration Desk to collect your membership badge, event programme and member pack.

These are the prices of memberships:

– Full Membership: €55

– Concessionary* Membership: €45

– Child Membership: €1

* Concessionary memberships are available to full time students, pensioners, teenagers aged 13 to 17 at the time of the Convention, and those on Jobseekers' or Disability Allowance.

Our membership sales are handled through PayPal. You can also purchase memberships for other people, e.g. friends and family.

Please bear in mind that there are some programme items for which signing-up in advance is required (such as the popular swordfighting classes which have restrictions on numbers). This will be done at the registration desk on arrival.
